Spring CUE 2026 | Slides | Flux Fuel (Handout)
Great Scott! Be a 'Flux Capacitor' on Your Campus Education is in constant flux, with leaders navigating scarce resources, shifting expectations, and rapid change. To thrive, we must become “flux capacitors”—leaders who both embrace change and build capacity in others. Like Marty, we need resilience to adapt quickly. Like the DeLorean, we need allies and champions to fuel transformation. And like Doc Brown, we must cultivate innovation, resourcefulness, and joy to power breakthroughs. In this session, you’ll identify a resilience strategy, name your champions of change, commit to creating one safe space for innovation, and leave with a clear next step to lead your school or district into the future to positively impact change. Great Scott! Be a 'Flux Capacitor' on Your Campus Education is beset by challenges on all sides. When resources become scarce and challenges dire, we need to be like Doc Brown from 'Back to the Future:' build capacity and manage swift change. We will develop our own 'flux capacitors' - building capacity within colleagues to embrace and manage change. Feb. 7, 2026 | Serrano Intermediate School SGVCUE Innovation Celebration 2026 | Slides

Remember the HUMAN: Deploying AI in Education | University of Alaska Southeast
|
As districts across the globe grapple with the tectonic shifts caused by generative AI, there is a tendency to rush to the tool as an answer to nearly all challenges of content creation, evaluation and synthesis. This approach, while exciting, diminishes the human intelligence that is essential to effective, ethical and equitable deployment of this technology. This session provides guidance for a responsible process by which your educational community can engage in the thoughtful and impactful use of artificial intelligence for all students, ethically. Remembering the human element, practice empathy and asking the right questions are the path forward.
